At TURCK, we believe we are responsible for helping our community become a better place to live, work and play. As a global company, we want to make sure these efforts are not directed to a certain location, but to all the areas in which we operate. We accomplish this by making contributions of time and money to local, national and international organizations at the corporate and individual level.

TURCK and its employees have participated in the following events:

American Cancer Society’s Making Strides for breast cancer walk:

• TURCK employees participate in this annual walk that aims to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research, services, education and advocacy.

American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life:

• TURCK employees raised money and a tent for this overnight event. Relay for Life’s aim is to celebrate cancer survivors, and uses contributions for research.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Walk to Cure Diabetes:

• This annual walkathon raises money for juvenile diabetes research and takes place at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn.

Music in Plymouth:

• Has brought the Minnesota Orchestra to Plymouth for a free concert for over 30 years. TURCK has been a principal contributor to this event since 1990.

United Way:

• TURCK and it’s employees participate in United Way’s annual campaign. TURCK matches every dollar employees donate.

TURCK also supports the following organizations:

• Mayo Clinic
• North Hennepin Community College
• Salvation Army
• University of Minnesota

TURCK Around the World:

• In January 2005, TURCK USA donated $5,000 to the International Response Fund of the American Red Cross to aid in relief efforts for the tsunami disaster in Asia. TURCK world headquarters also contributed 5,000 Euros to the Disaster Emergency Committee in Germany. Both agencies will use these funds to supply humanitarian aid to those affected by this tragedy.

• The disaster inflicted on the Golf Coast by Hurricane Katrina on September 2005, has resulted in an outpouring of support by nations and organizations around the world. TURCK USA, along with TURCK Germany and the TURCK Group have made a substantial contribution of $10,000 to the American Red Cross to aid in relief efforts.
