Bihl & Wiedemann’s AS-I (Actuator Sensor Interface) PC board I/O slaves distributed by TURCK Inc are small and provide the flexibility of upgrading existing devices. These slaves allow easy connection of standard I/O (such as sensors, limit switches, valves, and pilot lights) to the AS-I network, typically these slaves can be mounted into the device (i.e. valve top). These devices are powered off of the AS-I network and meet the requirements of AS-I according to specification 2.1.
